James M. Saucedo, MD grew up near Houston in Rosenberg, Texas. As an undergraduate at Baylor University, he was active in various organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and the pre-medical honor society (Alpha Epsilon Delta). In addition to his pre-medical focus, he studied world cultures, world literature and international human rights.
